Need advice about baby fish?

Hi we have had a tropical fish tank now for a month about 2 weeks ago we brought a few fish this morning I have noticed 3 tiny baby fish, do I need to do anything special to keep these baby fish alive thanks for any adviceNeed advice about baby fish?
Fry from fish and how to care and raise them vary from species to species and by far, you don't really have a all in one care package. Sometimes the fry, (thats babies) need to be housed away from other fish as they become targets as food for other fish. Seperating them out to an isloation/nursery tank is in many cases a good thing. Also to consider, some cichilds are active tending parents and look over thier fry so not much is needed to be done there. It would help to give you accurate advice if we knew what species of fish that had the babies. Mollies for example are known to eat thier own fry...why I have no idea, but it does happen.

Before you go really far into care, consider long term housing here. My point being, you now know you have a breeding pair of something in there, and this most likely wont be the first time you find babies. Where are you going to put all your extra fish? If you have a giant tank then I am sure it will be awhile before you reach your maximum bio load, if not, what plans do you have to keep and raise the fry?Need advice about baby fish?
I had a special net to put in my tank, and when the pregnant fish looked ready to pop, I would put here in there until the babies were born and then take the mother out again and leave the babies there until they were about 3 weeks old. I had lots and lots that way and they were great.
make sure the fish grows to a good size if u want to put a bigger fish in there because a big fish would eat the little tiny fish
If its not practical for you to get another tank buy a fish breeder keep them in it for a few weeks until they get a little bigger and at that point buy the dense plant there a plant called cabomba or something similar and that works quite well. and hope for the best most of the fry have probably been eaten if you can only see three.
I would buy a breeding net. It protects the baby fish from other fish from eating them. You can buy them at Walmart or a pet store. Mine is a green net and clips on the fish tank.
Hey depends what other fish you have you could separate them for a while to let them get a bit bigger so they dont get eaten or if u have plenty of rocks that then can hide in I think your ok. Enjoy your new fishies!
Odds are very high the babies are from a live bearer such as a molly, platy or guppy. In this case the only things you will need to do is offer them places to hide from the adults (which will eat them) and feed them finely crushed flake food. Most pet stores carry breeder nets that hang in your tank and will offer shelter to the baby fish.

MM
Sounds like you have guppies, swords and / or mollies (all live breeders).

Put in a lot of dense plant material (real or otherwise) where they can hide from the bigger fish (parents will eat the babies). Alternately you can buy a ';fish breeder'; which is a small plastic box that hangs on the side of the tank, to allow circulation, but also protection.
id keep in a seperate tank incase they are eaten by the adults, but it depends on breed of fish
separate tank until larger, same as above - depending on species. read up on species on the net, loads of great sites

Any advice about a jealously problem? I NEED HELP!?

So I have a thing with this guy and he likes me, but I know for a fact I like him more than he likes me. Anyways he says I am beautiful and pretty ETC but I get extremely jealous when he hangs out with his girl friends because they are alot prettier than me. I am not ugly or anything but I definitely feel like they are better looking. And sometimes I wonder why he likes me and not them. Because he could easily get one of them. Is this common? Do alot of girls feel this way sometimes?Any advice about a jealously problem? I NEED HELP!?
Its because you're insecure. About yourself and your hold on him.

Yes, a lot of girls do and have felt this way and relationships. Its about gaining self-worth and trust that he likes you.

you need to realize that any guy should be lucky to have you. if you're questioning why he even chose you in the first place, maybe that energy will rub off on him and make him change his mind?

Own yourself. your life.

let him hang with other girls. you're not dating. keyword his friends';. you probably have guy friends or if u did would you be droolin over every single one? i doubt it. so think about it that way. and collect some confidence.

you are amazing. be you and he will realize even more why he likes you.Any advice about a jealously problem? I NEED HELP!?
OMG get over yourself!!! he like you because you are you! the other girls obviously dont do it for him. the is no need to be jealous and in fact that will push him towards the other girls. he obviously thinks that you are the nicest looking girl he knows or he would NOT be with u. if u continue to carry on with this he WILL leave u. it is OK for u to be jealous just keep it to yourself as ost men do NOT find it to be an attractive trait in a woman. men (as well as women) find the opposite sex attractive for differrent reasons. STOP BEING A JEALOUS GIRLFRIEND of he will leave.
Listen, as you grow older you'll become more aware that in the end beauty does not necessarily mean brightness and happiness. There are so many types of personalities out there and many of them just dont ';click';. Sometime you might meet the hottest guy on earth and you just wish he could be your boyfriend one day, but then you speak to him a little and then a little more and you realize you can't stand the way he perceives certain (important) things. Then, if you dont think it's worth changing your views because of him and he thinks the same you'll always be in a battle with each other, so a relationship is not possible...no matter how much you wanted it to be and no matter how good he looked in your eyes. The point, beauty is not all.

I am thinking about starting my first book and I was wondering if anyone has any advice to give me for it?

I have wanted to start a book before, but everytime I get about 5 chapters into the story I chicken out, and immeadiatly bail my project. I chicken out because I am somewhat paranoid, and feel that people are watching me write the book. It feels akward that people I know will read my book. And as crazy as this may sound...I dislike getting comments, be they good or bad. Let's stray from that for a bit.

About writing the book, are there any difficulties to get through while writing it?I am thinking about starting my first book and I was wondering if anyone has any advice to give me 4 it?
Yes, Calm Down. You are having problems as you said, just take a deep breathe and think about your book and your book alone when write. Don't be worried that when someone you knows gets offended by it, besides if it does you shouldn't care. What if Tolkien chickened out or if Rowling said 'I'm scared that people won't like it.' Just let yourself go and write what you want, when you want, and where you want.

Good Luck! ; )I am thinking about starting my first book and I was wondering if anyone has any advice to give me 4 it?
1.st peace of advice, never give up, stories come to you in bits and pieces and in no real order, its up to you to sort it out. be prepared also to reread it several times to iron out all the details.
The big problem is probably that you're looking around your room and seeing finished novels. They were only five chapters long at one time too! Just get through it, finish it, and then pick it apart. You don't get graded on a half finished test. And as for feeling awkward about friends reading your book, just think, you've finished a book - they haven't.
First of all, good for you! Second, the world if full of 30 page novels stuffed in drawers so you aren't alone. In fact, you actually may have gotten farther than the rest.

The reason you're getting discouraged at five chapters is you're probably passed all the exposition and introductions and therefore you're hitting the middle which frankly is the hardest part for most writers.

The solution to this is varied. A lot of writers don't do a lot of explicit planning and simply say to keep going on and don't stop even when it's hard. But, like painting, I believe writing is a learned art that maximizes talent. So, I think you might want to explore the structure of your story and find where the obstacle is that stops you from writing the middle.

I believe your problem can be resolved when you examine the meaning of your story and its structure then you will easily move past the beginning into the middle and then to the climax and conclusion.

While there's a lot to explore with your story's meaning and structure, your middle is where your character(s) should be engaging in progressive complications that hinder their objects of desires -- this is conflict which is the soul of your story. As your characters confront conflict, they are forced to make decisions. As they make decisions we learn about who they are because it is in those decisions that we display our soul.

But you need to know the general direction your character(s) are going and know what your story is about. This is all easier said than done.

Some questions you should ask that will help:

Do you know your ending? (It doesn't have to dictate your story, but it helps to know where you're going)

What is your story about? (Not necessarily what happens)

Do you have any major reversals in your story?

Did you structure your act design?

What and where's your inciting incident?

What does your main character desire?

What does your main character secretly desire (maybe even in conflict with the other desire -- this produces irony).

What blocks your main characters' desires?

    What are the scene objectives?

Have you created a step-outline of your story?

There's a tutorial and articles which explores the story's structure that may be helpful at www.storyentertainment.com to help you answer those questions and more if you do not know.
