I just saw a violation notice from a question 6 days ago. All I asked was ';How does one become more popular on Yahoo R%26amp;S section?'; Implying how to win friends and form little networking groups like with the fans and contacts. And why some people seem to form little groups supporting each other. I just asked how some make a name for themselves. What guideline did I violate did it look like soliciting for points or something. This was my first violation notice so I'm just wondering about this. I had some great responses to the question as well. Can anyone offer advice about a question violation on this section?
Don't sweat it too much. I seem to get a violation a couple times a week for the most stupid things. It goes with the territory, I guess. Can anyone offer advice about a question violation on this section?
you can be turned in for anything or nothing at all
you can write an appeal on it
I've heard a lot of Qs about why their Q got deleted. You might have somehow written stupid in code or something. Maybe they randomly delete Qs for fun. idk. It's weird.
There is no rhyme or reason. It is another mystery of the universe. Maybe god did it and he is testing you
There are some who report everything they see as ';chatting';. They report the questioner and everyone who answers. We will all most likely get violation notices for this as well.
C'est la vie.
Probably chatting.
you violated the guideline that says: whenever we (yahoo team) want, we can delete your question without warning and without explaining anything.
