Require advice about wifi?

I was thinking about purchasing the apple touch player, and one of the feature is to recieve internet on this unit without a wire connection.


As I have a laptop which is currently connected to the BT hub which is the latest design in black. What would I have to do to enabled a wifi connection, also as my laptop stays on a wire connection would the wifi connection be a problem?


Also I have heard there is wifi free internet locations around the uk, how does this work?Require advice about wifi?
You can connect wirelessly to your home hub. You can have the touch player and the laptop connected at the same time. On the home hub there should be a sticker with and SSID and a Security key printed on it.





Search for wireless networks on the laptop. when you see your SSID, connect to that, it will ask for the security key. Do the same on the touch player.





Many places like coffee shops and bars let you connect to their wifi for free, just do this process again anywhere where you see free wifi advertisedRequire advice about wifi?
you may take a wifi connection and established in the house and connect both the devices from the wifi and you can access the laptop and it will ask you the ssid password in both the devices after it you can access the wifi anywhere it gets free so its a good idea .so you need a wifi router by which you can connect all the devices .I think its useful for you.
