I am thinking about joining the army. I want to be a cook, and want to know a bit more. I have about 3 years experience as a sous chef in a cafe at the moment. I was wondering how much money I can save in 3 years if I don't have any bills to pay at the moment? How is getting a related job afterwards with the army on your resume? Also, what is it like? I've read a bunch of stuff about being in the army, but I am interested specifically in cooking in the army.Advice about joining army? 92G?
lol, good luck being able to choose what you want to do if you don't have a degree, better off going to a restaurant, as the army will probably make you a regular GI since they are so short on man powerAdvice about joining army? 92G?
Very few army cooks actually cook, it seems like they are being phased out, they are more likely to serve, or supervise contractors. Apparently the cooks who actually cook are in the Navy.
