Lots of oppurtunityI'm thinking about becoming a RN, what advice would you give me?
Nursing school was the hardest thing I have ever done. I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life and nursing opened up so many options. There will always be a demand for nurses. I went from nursing school to the OB dept at a small hospital and then to a Dr office. Still didn't feel right so I started subbing as a school nurse. I am now a full time elementary school nurse and think I have found my place. There are so many things you can do as an RN you just have to keep going till you find your place. School is hard and stressful, but I was never more proud of myself as when I graduated from nursing school and I had already graduated from college once before.

Good luck. Being a nurse is very rewarding. Don't give up!
i am in nursing school right now to become an RN, so far i love it. check out the website www.allnurses.com they have a lot of information that will answer any questions you may have, plus i think some of the posts are funny.
Nurses rock, their are practically no negatives except the fact that most people you see are hating life. Good luck and go for it!
The hours are bad but if u are doing something u love don't worry
